FAQ's

Do custom orders cost extra?

Custom orders are free of extra cost within certain parameters. There is no fee for customizing an existing pattern such as choice of colors, adding a pocket or tassel. Adding painted art to a leather project is an extra cost dependent on the scale of the request (generally $10-$50) New pattern development is not available at this time.

Project price is determined by material cost and labor, but I will always give a quote before production begins. Once all elements are confirmed with customer, a deposit of half the cost is required to begin the project.

Can I add to or edit a Little Jul pattern?

Absolutely! I’d be glad to talk about any modifications you have in mind. Add a pocket, change the handle style, colorblock or monogram - the possibilities are endless!

Can I order something in my favorite color?

Getting to choose the colors and materials is one of the best parts of custom orders! I will show you what I have available or shop for the materials you are seeking.

At times I may not be able to find or purchase an affordable option for a particular request simply due to availability or pricing.

How long do custom orders take?

Custom order time will depend on the product and current work load in the studio. Small goods can be completed within 1-2 weeks. Handbags may require a longer lead time. We can chat about your timeline and I will keep you posted every step of the way!

How can I get a product that is sold out?

If you see a Little Jul product you love that is sold out and want one of your own, just shoot me an inquiry email. I’d be happy to let you know if the leather is available and/or make one for you! Because my handbag work is one of a kind, there will always be a little something different if I repeat a pattern. But we can include the elements of the bag you loved! Basic small goods are not necessarily one of a kind.
